Check versions, authentication, and routes
Isolate connection compatibility before measuring a fleet.
Protocol version
- Record the target's Minecraft edition and version.
- Select the matching protocol in Bot Settings.
- Connect one bot without proxies or extra automation.
- Inspect its disconnect reason and loaded world state.
Use the version reference for SoulFire's supported protocol families. Protocol translation does not guarantee identical mechanics or compatibility with every server plugin.
Authentication
Offline accounts require a target that accepts offline logins. Online-mode Java targets need a valid authenticated Java account. Bedrock targets use the corresponding Bedrock login path.
Check allowlists, bans, player limits, duplicate account names, and login plugin requirements. Use account troubleshooting if Microsoft login or target authentication fails.
Proxy routing
- Connect one bot directly to establish a working baseline.
- Import one proxy and check it.
- Connect the same bot through that route.
- Compare target logs and the observed source address.
Minecraft traffic and Microsoft authentication can use different routes. The Use proxies for account auth setting controls the authentication route separately. Use proxy troubleshooting for route-specific errors.
Compare multiple versions
Use a separate instance or saved run record for each protocol version. Keep the world, accounts, route, bot count, and behavior constant. Record both successful joins and failed actions after the join.
