Run a SoulFire server
Deploy and maintain the backend that owns your bot sessions and data.
A dedicated SoulFire server runs the backend independently of the desktop app. Use it for shared access, remote machines, and sessions that must continue after a client disconnects. It is separate from the Minecraft server that the bots join.
Deploy
Automated Linux setup
Use the official setup script for Docker and HTTPS.
Docker
Manage the container and persistent data yourself.
Java
Run the dedicated JAR and configure its listener.
Operate
- Access and HTTPS: connect clients and manage permissions.
- Persistent data: understand what must survive a restart.
- Backup and restore: create a consistent copy and verify recovery.
- Upgrade and rollback: preserve the old software and matching data.
- Logs and performance: diagnose failures and measure the backend.
Verify the deployment
A healthy backend must answer its health check, accept an authenticated client, and connect a bot to your Minecraft target. A container marked healthy only proves the first of these. Complete the first-bot tutorial with Dedicated server (remote) after deployment.
