Run a command for one bot

Use the instance terminal and bot selector without affecting an entire fleet.

The instance Terminal accepts SoulFire commands. These commands run on the SoulFire backend. They differ from Minecraft chat commands.

Send chat through one bot

With DocsBot_1 connected in your tutorial instance, run:

bot DocsBot_1 say Hello from one bot

Check that only DocsBot_1 sends the message. The bot selector accepts a comma-separated list of account names.

Inspect before changing state

online
bot DocsBot_1 health

Check the selected instance and bot names before running a movement or inventory command. A command without a bot selector can affect multiple bots in its scope.

Send a Minecraft command

bot DocsBot_1 say /help

The Minecraft server handles /help with the bot's permissions. A SoulFire access token does not grant Minecraft operator permissions.

Stop movement and bot sessions

bot DocsBot_1 control reset
bots stop

control reset clears movement inputs. It does not disconnect the bot. bots stop requests stopped state for configured bots in the selected instance scope. The plain stop command shuts down the SoulFire backend.

Look up the available commands

Run help in the terminal. Use command reference for selectors, actions, and task commands. Plugins can add commands, so the live server help is the final authority for your installation.
