Change settings deliberately
Change the correct settings layer and check its effect with one bot.
Settings affect different stages of a bot session. Changing an authentication setting does not change the Minecraft target or enable a plugin.
Choose the correct page
| Goal | Page |
|---|---|
| Change target address, version, join timing, or timeout | Bot Settings |
| Add accounts, shuffle them, or route account authentication through proxies | Account Settings |
| Add proxy routes and check them | Proxy Settings |
| Enable a built-in behavior and change its parameters | Plugin Settings |
| Change the backend's server-wide behavior | Server settings |
Change a running workflow
- Record the current value and the expected effect.
- Stop one test bot if the change affects login, target, version, or routing.
- Save the new setting in the intended instance.
- Restart that bot and inspect its state and logs.
- Apply the change to the remaining bots after the result matches your expectation.
A saved setting does not prove that an existing connection uses the new value. Target and authentication behavior need a new connection to exercise them.
Keep experiments reproducible
Record the target version, account type, proxy route, enabled plugins, join timing, and scripts. Change one factor between comparison runs. Use test preparation for a complete run record.
Read settings from the SDK
Use the administration API to inspect and update an instance's settings. Use the server's settings metadata for valid keys and value types. Do not invent a setting from a label in a screenshot.
