Inspect what a bot sees

Use a bot view to diagnose loaded world state and camera output.

A bot view helps you inspect the world around a connected bot. Use it after a connection succeeds, rather than as a test of authentication.

Inspect one bot

  1. Open the instance's Overview.
  2. Select a connected bot and open its detail view.
  3. Open its point-of-view controls.
  4. Compare the view with a normal player at the same location.

Check the position, dimension, loaded chunks, and nearby objects. A bot can be connected while the world has not loaded enough for the action you want.

Capture an image

The terminal provides camera exports for selected bots:

bot DocsBot_1 export-basic-render 640 360

Use export-render-debug-dump to collect camera and device details for a rendering problem. Read commands for supported arguments. The backend writes exports to its data directories, not the remote client's computer.

Automate camera inspection

Use SDK camera and maps for captures, streams, and world maps. A screenshot is useful evidence for a failed interaction. Also record the bot position, connection state, and action error.
